Throwbag Rope (sold by the meter)

Description

We have replacement throw bag rope available in two different styles. If you have old rope in your throw bag, you can replace it with new rope. Alternatively, if you are making your own throw bag, you can pick the rope to best suit your requirements. Both versions of the rope are made with double braid polypropylene, so will float.

8mm Floating Throw Bag Rope

This rope is a good balance between packability and handling. The rope is supple enough that it’ll pack down well. Yet it still has a good feel, making it easier to hold. For most kayakers, this is the perfect rope to use in their throw bag.

8mm Floating Throw Bag Rope – Compact

For some paddlers, such as pack rafters, it’s import to have lightweight and compact gear. The Compact 8mm Floating Rope is designed specifically to meet this need. While the break load is slightly lower than the standard 8mm rope, this rope packs down really nicely. This allows you to have a smaller and lighter throw bag without having to compromise on the length of the rope used.
