Description
Kayaks with an understern rudder have a bad habit of picking up weed. If your kayak doesn’t have a weed guard fitted and you find yourself picking up weed, it’s easy to retro fit one. A weed guard deflects weed onto the rudder blade, lessening the chance of it getting stuck between the rudder blade and the hull. Fitting it is simple. Use a small amount of epoxy glue to fasten the weed guard slightly forward of your rudder blade.
Suitable for surfskis, marathon and sprint kayaks.
