Description
The Embla is a responsive kayak for intermediate and advanced paddlers. It’s got a few design features which are a departure to most other designs. The seat is one of the first things you will notice. It sits low in the kayak, keeping your centre of gravity down low. And, it seems to agree with a range of different paddlers. The hull shape has a nice mix of initial and secondary stability, and the kayak moves happily from edge to edge.
This kayak has been paddled a little bit over a period of about a year. It’s in very tidy condition, with just a few very minor scratches. There is one gelcoat repair, but it’s hard to spot – the gelcoat had an air bubble from new, which has no impact on the strength of the kayak. Everything else is in very good condition. The original owner fitted two lengths of KeelEazy tape on the hull.
The kayak is fibreglass construction. We had sold this model for $4199 when new.

If you are interested in purchasing a composite kayak please be aware that we do not send these kayaks out using a freight company. You either need to collect it from us, or we can deliver it locally (Nelson / Tasman region). Please contact us if you have any questions regarding collection.
