Description
We’ve got a handful of club spec Think Jets available. Each one has had a very small amount of use, but is essentially like new. They would usually retail for over $4000 each, so this is an opportunity to grab a great ski at a great price.
The Jet is sized to suit smaller paddlers, working well for paddlers as light as 35kg. The cockpit is smaller and everything is size to suit a lighter paddler.
These skis are all club spec construction. They are fibreglass construction and have a venturi fitted instead of Think’s usual bailer option. The weight is around 16kg.

One of the Jets has a small repair on the side. This ski is $200 less than the other ones available.
Payment Options
Pay your Think ski off in installments.
In addition to the usual payment methods (credit card, bank transfer or cash), we can offer you the option to pay for your new Think ski over three months.
- Pay 1/3 to secure your ski
- Pay 1/3 the following month
- Pay 1/3 upon collection the next month

Delivery
If you are interested in purchasing a composite kayak please be aware that we do not send these kayaks out using a freight company. You either need to collect it from us, or we can deliver it locally. We also offer several delivery trips each year. Delivery Trips
We are no longer offering delivery trips. If you wish to purchase a composite sea kayak or a surfski, you either need to arrange your own transport and collect from Nelson. We can easily deliver kayaks within the Nelson / Tasman region.
Return Policy
- If you purchase a product and find it’s not the right size, please let us know. We will do our best to find a better size or a different product that fits you better. And, if we cannot do this, we will offer you a credit towards a future purchase. Please be aware that any additional courier costs associated with exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.
- We do not offer refunds if you change your mind after purchasing a product.
- Items that are on sale, or at clearance pricing are not eligible for exchange. Please choose carefully when purchasing. If you have any questions regarding the sizing of a product, please contact us.
- As Kayak HQ is closing down, we are limited to the sizes we have left in stock, and are not ordering in new products. Exchanges are limited to what is in stock.
