The Ymir is a quick sea kayak, that perfectly balances speed and stability. Take it on trips where you want to cover some distance. Ot, use it when you want to keep your speed up.
It’s a very versatile kayak. It excells at short, fitness style paddles, and will respond nicely to a high cadence stoke. But, it’s also happy to just cruise along too. And if you want to undertake a longer trip, a Ymir will take on the role of expedition kayak. The Ymir is a great match for paddlers who like to pack light.
The hull has a pronounced ‘V’ shape to it, with a rounded chine. This allows the kayak to move smoothly from edge to edge and gives it excellent tracking.
