Description
The Duva is a stable and easy to paddle touring kayak. It strikes a good balance between being stable and being responsive. It’s stable enough for beginners to paddle, but won’t hold them back as their skills progress. The hull has a soft chine with a small amount of ‘V’ shape. This combination gives good tracking, with predictable handling. At the stern, the keel extends back enough, making this an easy kayak to control. The extra waterline length will make you think this kayak is longer than it actually is. It’ll cruise along with the rest of the group. The front and rear hatches have molded in bulkheads and are sealed with rubber Kajak Sport hatch lids. We have a demo model available should you wish to test paddle the Duva.
There is one Carbon Duva (Black & White colour) that has been trialled once. It looks like new, there are no marks on it and it is covered by warranty the same as if it were a new kayak. Given that it’s been on the water and it’s technically not brand new, we’re take $200 off the price.

Delivery
If you are interested in purchasing a composite kayak please be aware that we do not send these kayaks out using a freight company. You either need to collect it from us, or we can deliver it locally. We also offer several delivery trips each year. The next North Island delivery trip will be mid-January – we are now full for this trip.
The next full-load trip to Auckland will be happening in February.
