Description
The Duva is a stable and easy to paddle touring kayak. It strikes a good balance between being stable and being responsive. It’s stable enough for beginners to paddle, but won’t hold them back as their skills progress. The hull has a soft chine with a small amount of ‘V’ shape. This combination gives good tracking, with predictable handling. At the stern, the keel extends back enough, making this an easy kayak to control. The extra waterline length will make you think this kayak is longer than it actually is. It’ll cruise along with the rest of the group. The front and rear hatches have molded in bulkheads and are sealed with rubber Kajak Sport hatch lids. We have a demo model available should you wish to test paddle the Duva.
There is one Carbon Duva (Black & White colour) that has been trialled once. It looks like new, there are no marks on it and it is covered by warranty the same as if it were a new kayak. Given that it’s been on the water and it’s technically not brand new, we’ve take $200 off the price.

In addition to the usual payment methods (credit card, bank transfer or cash), we can offer you the option to pay for your new Norse kayak over three months.
- Pay 1/3 to secure your ski
- Pay 1/3 the following month
- Pay 1/3 upon collection the next month

Delivery
If you are interested in purchasing a composite kayak please be aware that we do not send these kayaks out using a freight company. You either need to collect it from us, or we can deliver it locally. We also offer several delivery trips each year. If you are interested in having this item delivered, you can find more information on delivery trips here.
Delivery Trips
We are no longer offering delivery trips. If you wish to purchase a composite sea kayak or a surfski, you either need to arrange your own transport and collect from Nelson. We can easily deliver kayaks within the Nelson / Tasman region.
Return Policy
- If you purchase a product and find it’s not the right size, please let us know. We will do our best to find a better size or a different product that fits you better. And, if we cannot do this, we will offer you a credit towards a future purchase. Please be aware that any additional courier costs associated with exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.
- We do not offer refunds if you change your mind after purchasing a product.
- Items that are on sale, or at clearance pricing are not eligible for exchange. Please choose carefully when purchasing. If you have any questions regarding the sizing of a product, please contact us.
- As Kayak HQ is closing down, we are limited to the sizes we have left in stock, and are not ordering in new products. Exchanges are limited to what is in stock.
