Description
Switch to a different rudder to change the characteristics of your ski and optimize it for different conditions. We have four different rudders available; 5″, 7″, 8″ & 9″.
- Choose the 5″ for flatwater paddling, where minimising weed catching is important.
- Choose the 7″ for ocean paddling. Steering response is neutral and the rake won’t catch weed.
- Choose the 8″ for when you want responsive steering, but don’t want the length of a 9″ rudder.
- Choose the 9″ eliptical rudder for responsive steering. Great for downwind paddles.
The Ace, Zen, Six, Evo & Duo all use a rudder with a 170mm long shaft, while the Ion, Uno & Uno Max use a rudder with a 145mm shaft.
