Heat shrink for paddle shafts

Description

Many paddles have a section of heat shrink on the shaft where you hold the paddle. This is prone to scratching and chipping. Replace the heat shrink and make your paddle feel like new again.

To fit, simple slide the heat shrink over your paddle shaft and once in place gently heat the heat shrink to get a tight fit. The best heat source is steam, so boil the jug and hold your paddle above the steam until all the heat shrink has shrunk.

Please note: to fit new heat shrink you need to slide it over the paddle shaft and this can only be done when the blade is removed or if your paddle is a 2 piece split shaft paddle.
