Description
The Sea to Summit Field Repair Buckle is a clever bit of gear. If you break a side release buckle, it’s quick and easy to fit a new one. To fit a new buckle all you need is a screw driver (and a cutting tool, such as side cutters, if you need to remove the broken buckle).
Selecting the correct buckle
- If you are replacing an adjustable buckle (known as a ladder lock buckle) then choose the 1-pin version. These are commonly found on pack straps and compression straps.
- If you are replacing a non-adjustable side release buckle, then choose the 2-pin version.
The buckles come in different widths. The width of the buckle refers to the width of the webbing it is designed to work with.
